Harry Styles admits he feels ‘ashamed’ after doing his first shoey on stage in Perth.
The pop star, currently on the Australian leg of his Love On tour, had a crack at the most infamous Aussie tradition on Monday (February 20) night at HBF Park.
According to Perth Now, the singer asked fans to show him their handmade signs, leading to him single out one concert-goer named Scott.

Scott revealed to Styles he had been ‘dragged’ to the show by his wife - sure, Jan - and asked him if he had ever done a shoey.
“It’s been a dream of mine,” the singer said before the crowd.
Scott said as he handed a cup to the 29-year-old: “Pour it in there, there it goes."

As the Brit lifted one of his trainers and filled it with beer, he told the audience: “This one of the most disgusting traditions I’ve ever witnessed.”
Post-shoey, he added: “I feel like a different person. I feel ashamed of myself. It feels so personal.
"Such an intimate moment to be shared with so many people.
"I’ll be discussing this with my therapist at length.”

The moment, which is currently making the rounds on Twitter, left many stunned.
One person wrote: “No amount of money would make me do this.”
Another said: “Oh I know it smelled foul. He just gave himself 10 infections.”
A third commented: “I actually love how he does these little things like this at these places to make his fans feel good and to show how comfortable he is and how fun he is. It’s the tradition of the place and his disgusted reaction was so funny we won.”

While another shared: “The apocalypse is definitely happening sooner than expected who knows what kind of fungi he just let into his stomach."
Styles also paid tribute to another Australian custom during the encore when he sang a rendition of Daryl Braithwaite’s ‘Horses’.

"I can feel the Aussie coursing through my veins," he said after belting out the power ballad, as per Nine.com.au.
"You don't hear that song very much but when you get here, it's like catnip."
That’s it, if he chows down a Tim Tam and gets attacked by a magpie, we’re officially adopting him.
Styles' final show in Australia will be March 4 at Sydney’s Olympic Park.
