The host of Netflix's How To Build A Sex Room Melanie Rose never set out to design "sacred" room, but the near 60-year-old's hit show has left viewers wanting more.
The eight episode season released on July 8 follows the British designer as she helps couples create intimate rooms. They vary from a designated sex room or a redesigned bedroom, but any room can be a sex room, according to Rose.
She said in the series' trailer: "For over 15 years, I have been designing high end homes.

"So when a client asked me if I had ever designed a sex room, I said 'why not? Why wouldn't I go and design a sex room?'"
"When people hear the words 'sex room' they concentrate on the word 'sex' and that connotates dirty and disgusting."
But working alongside her contractor Mike, she says the rooms can be "beautiful". Rose adds: "And they are places where couples can explore their deepest fantasies."
Clients on the show are a mix of Rock and Roll fans, a polyamorous family, and even some "frisky farmers".

The 57-year-old was born and raised in London. She spent over a decade as an actress performing in West End Shows and on television.
Rose moved to Los Angeles and eventually became an in-demand interior designer.
Although she still works in traditional interior design, she is now known for creating "sacred spaces".
"I don't think there's been a really outlandish request because I don't faze easily," she told People "You can tell me about anything and I'm like, 'OK, just tell me more.' I'm a very curious person, so I like to get into people's minds when I get these rooms ready for them."

Shenika, who Rose designed a new bedroom for in the series, said the designer was like an "angel" for her and her husband Matthew's marriage.
Another client Taylor, who is in the first episode with her partner Ajay, calls Rose the "Mary Poppins of sex rooms.”
Viewers were equally as charmed by designer with one person tweeting: "Get hold of Melanie Rose now! Series 2 of How To Build A Sex Room ... GO!"
"How to Build a Sex Room is probably the best concept show Netflix has come up with," another said. "Melanie Rose is hilarious and a fucking genius. Watch it immediately."
