The prequel for The Hunger Games has dropped its first trailer to fans at CinemaCon, and we totally volunteer as tribute.
Well, not to play, obviously. But to watch.
Lionsgate has given us the first glimpse of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and it looks incredible.

The prequel is the latest instalment from The Hunger Games franchise, based on Suzanne Collins’ New York Times bestseller novel.
Lionsgate’s Adam Fogelson likened the project to prequels such as Wicked or Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
"Fans want to know and see the origins of this story," he told fans at CinemaCon before the trailer premiere, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
The film stars Tom Blyth, Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andres Rivera, Jason Schwartzman and Viola Davis.

Director Francis Lawrence is at the helm of the upcoming flick.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will drop in cinemas on November 17.
