While some actors can wait to leave behind roles that make them a household name, Chris Hemsworth couldn’t be further from this.
The Aussie actor has revealed he has no intentions of retiring from Thor as he's having far too much fun with the character.
During the promotional tour for Thor: Love and Thunder, Hemsworth told Extra TV that his fans can be assured he's not going anywhere anytime soon.
He said: "Every time I play Thor, I'm like, 'This is the last time they'll let me do it.' So, I don't know. I love it! I love it.

"I'll keep coming back for more and more until someone kicks me off the stage. I love it.”
He added: “My whole career has been based around this character, and to come back and play it again and again with different directors and different casts has been an absolute joy. We'll see what the fans want.
“I'm down for whatever's enjoyable, and having a good time, and that's what this experience in the Marvel world has been for me, so, bring it on!"
President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige addressed Thor’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), teasing that many more stories are to be told, according to GamesRadar.

He said: "Well, there are these things called comic books that have a lot of stories in them – and that's where all of our stories come from.
"And the question is, 'Have you told all the great Thor stories from the comics in movies?' The answer is no. There are lots of them."
The Marvel boss added that there are many ‘incarnations’ of the God of Thunder that audiences are yet to see.

Gizmodo reports that even though Hemsworth has played the character nine times, the films he has been a part of have drastically evolved over the years, especially under Taika Waititi’s vision.
Hemsworth said: “How do you recreate the character? What can you do different each time? And that’s been the luxury working with different directors and different casts and they all bring out something very different in you.
“As Taika said, I feel like the characters have probably become more me over the years and in, I hope, a fun way.”
With the brilliance of Waitiki’s mind and Hemsworth’s sheer star power, we doubt this will be the last time we see Thor grace the big screen.
