He’s the friendly face of daytime TV, but Homes Under the Hammer’s Martin Roberts has appeared in a much less wholesome reality show.
The property expert is set to star in Channel 4’s Big Celebrity Detox (yes, that’s a thing) and said that producers got him to try some rather outlandish treatments.
He even admitted to drinking his own urine and ‘s**t himself’ during the upcoming series.

The 59-year-old is just one of the many celebs taking part in the, um, holistic show which also stars Jungle Queen Kerry Katona, two former Love Island contestants and real-life royalty, Princess Olga.
It makes for some pretty uncomfortable viewing as the group try out the various treatment and therapies as they try to get their minds and bodies into tip-top shape.
According to Amelia Brown, an exec behind the new series, the celebs will be subjected to bee-sting acupuncture and blood-sucking leeches to improve the skin.

The Managing Director of Thames told the press: “Banishing the Botox and ditching their usual therapies for some of the wildest treatments available, the stressed-out celebs will be pushed to their limits on the path to enlightenment."
Roberts will be among the lucky, or rather unlucky, participants with the property expert admitting that it was a ‘kinda weird’ experience.
Despite suffering from a heart condition and being rushed to hospital last year, the BBC presenter tested the waters with some unusual treatments - including drinking his own urine which allegedly improves focus.
"I think they did this as a shock factor to get people to watch the series, we had to drink our own urine,” Roberts admitted to The Sun.

"They threw us into the deep end with the worst therapy they could have possibly thought of.”
Despite feeling a wee bit foolish, worse was yet to come for the Homes Under The Hammer host as he later had ‘violent diarrhoea’ during production.
This was because the celebs were fed a vomit-inducing concoction, as part of their lengthy detox process.

"You’re going to have to get the correct name, but I call them vomit beans, so you eat these beans, sit around in a circle and do a bit of chanting over a fire and then these weird people in white smocks give you these beans which they’re fried which are guaranteed to make you throw up and s**t yourself," Roberts said.
If that hasn’t put you off seeking spiritual enlightenment, Big Celebrity Detox will air nightly on E4 from 15 May.
