Lana Del Rey's set at Reading Festival was cut short, leaving the singer unable to get through all of her songs before she watched the fireworks and departed.
She was performing on the festival's main stage yesterday (24 August), with NME reporting that she was 'roughly 15 minutes late' for her set, which she opened with a shortened version of 'Norman F**king Rockwell'.
Del Rey ran through 13 tracks in total and after she'd performed 'Video Games' and told the crowd: "Thank you so much Reading, thank you. We are going to sing a couple more songs. As long as we can until they pull us off."

Those proved to be prophetic words as the singer was cut short, leaving her to watch the fireworks from the stage before making way for DJ Fred Again...
According to the Daily Mail, she suffered from some technical problems which meant her fans struggled to hear her at times.
They also wrote that at one point Del Rey was being drowned out by techno music coming from another stage, prompting the crowd to chant 'turn it up, turn it up' after she asked whether they could hear her.

Some fans took to social media to complain, with people saying they loved Lana Del Rey 'but yes of course you are going to get cut off' for being late with another act to come.
"She evidently didn't learn from glasto," they said, referencing last year's Glastonbury show where she arrived half an hour late and was cut off after breaking the curfew.
Del Rey poked fun at this moment on stage at Hyde Park, getting her hair done while she performed.
Another said that 'turning up late then getting cut off who would've thought'.

However, others directed their ire towards the Reading Festival organisers, saying 'they f**king cut Lana off I am shocked' and that 'the organisers should be ashamed to cut her off'.
There is a curfew in place at Reading Festival and the main stages have to be all done and dusted by 11:30pm, according to Time Out.
Fred Again.. was meant to end his set just 10 minutes shy of that curfew so organisers may have felt like they didn't have time to let Del Rey finish all her songs.

Plenty of Del Rey's fans said that what they did get to see was 'absolutely fantastic' and 'f**king majestic', even if they implored Reading Festival not to 'clash a singer with techno'.
LADbible have contacted Lana Del Rey's representatives and Reading Festival organisers for comment.
