House of the Dragon fans are asking the same question as two trailers have been released for season two.

Fans are asked to ‘choose a side’ as the season is set to be released on 16 June 2024.

And the second trailer, for Team Green, here:

And it looks like the upcoming set of episodes will see a battle between those backing Rhaenyra’s claim to the Iron Throne (Team Black) and those supporting Alicent and her son, Aegon Targaryen (Team Green).
That’s after Rhaenyra became queen in season one with ex-best mate and now mother-in-law, Alicent, not at all happy about it.
And with the trailers split between the two teams, fans are struggling to see the point of the other side.

As another put: I’m #TeamBlack all the way, I’m very concerned with anyone who is Team Green tbh.”
Others shared side-eye GIFs as they wrote: “Me @ anyone who is Team Green.”
With one asking: “How exactly does one come around to being team green?”

But one fan joked: “Team black this, team green that. did any of you ever consider I just hate just about every man in that show and I’m just here for the drama of childhood best friends who were secret lovers turned enemies?
“F**k those teams, give me a tragic love story.”
George R.R. Martin, author of the Game of Thrones series, as well as the book House of the Dragon is based on, Fire and Blood, has seen the first two episodes of the new season and says they are ‘very dark’.
Well, bring it on.
