The host of Naked Attraction has spoken out about the future of the show nine years after its first episode aired.
Anna Richardson is known for heading up the popular Channel 4 show, speaking with contestants that come on to find love by looking at people's bits first.
While the show has received a number of complaints from viewers throughout its time on TV, those behind the show have long fought back against these criticisms.

Naked Attraction has since built up a following and been praised for promoting body positivity in its 12 seasons on the air.
For those unfamiliar, the show's premise involves a contestant seeing potential suitors stood in front of them, fully nude, though only parts of them are revealed at a time from the bottom up, before choosing someone to go on a date with to see if their instincts were correct.
Many coined the show as 'vulgar', resulting in over 1,000 complaints to broadcasting body Ofcom since its first episode due to the full-frontal nudity on show.
As time went on, the show increased in popularity, as Richardson, 54, and her contestants, helped to propel the show to great success, with the final episode of season 12 airing in March 2024.

But the show has remained off air since, as the host, known for her cheeky comments, addressed the show's possible future in an interview with The Mirror.

"Unfortunately not, that’s down to Channel 4 and the team at Studio Lambert. But I too am desperate for this to come back – it’s my favourite show ever. I think we should all petition to Channel 4 to get the next season out there as soon as possible." she said.
However, it's not all bad news for fans as a Channel 4 spokesperson said to LADbible: "It (Naked Attraction) has not been cancelled and discussions are ongoing on recommissioning."
Describing the show as 'bold and unconventional', like herself, Richardson explained on what interested her about the show, adding: “My dad’s a vicar and my mum’s an RE teacher, and so there were all types of people who walked through our vicarage door all the time.

“I was told I had to be a ‘good girl’ and that there were certain things we couldn’t talk about – which I always rallied against. I must’ve been a nightmare!”
Richardson reflected that while they had 'a bit of a giggle', she enjoyed facing 'stigma, bias and misconceptions – quite literally – face-on' as it helped to address real life problems.
She even revealed her favourite-ever guest on the show was Judith, a church choir member that brought her Casio organ on set to sing 'the Lord is My Shepherd'.

"When the screen went up, she did something very special with her homemade Victoria sponge, which then broke the internet," she recalled.

Speaking about a moment that shocked her most, Richardson admitted: "It takes a lot to shock me, so in moments like that my natural response is to go straight to duty of care – to make sure the contestant is comfortable, safe and will be cared for."
She claimed that nothing would embarrass her as she has 'seen it all', learning 'so much' about the human anatomy, joking: "I really should be an honorary medic."
