The Boys creator reveals one thing Amazon asked him to axe as ‘most depraved piece of media ever seen’ leaves fans disgusted

There are some scenes which should never see the light of day, and this The Boys one is an example

There are some things that should be left out of the script, or that’s what Amazon Prime Video said to The Boys creator after disturbing its fanbase in Season 4.

The R-rated antics of its anti-hero team has blown minds with just how far it can push the boundaries of what is acceptable to be shown on TV.

But this time, it’s maybe too explicit.

According Eric Kripke, there was one part of the show was a little too much for the producers at Amazon, which features The Deep (Chace Crawford)…

I mean, we all know where this is going, right?

In the last season, as part of his redemption after being kicked out of The Seven, we were introduced to an octopus called Ambrosius (Tilda Swinton), and the pair got frisky.

However, now the relationship in Season 4 is taking a turn for the gross and the Amazon execs think it needs to dial down.

Kripke said: "Funny enough, the only thing they said to me all season was - and we weren't going to do it anyway - was 'Can you just, maybe, not have The Deep f*cking an octopus in so many scenes?' because bestiality is a real tricky line for standards."

The new season of the show now features Jeffrey Dean Morgan alongside Antony Starr, Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Colby Minifie, Karen Fukuhara , Cameron Crovetti and more, which is a recipe for great television.

But maybe not the octopus f******.

Although apparently Amazon wasn’t saying they needed to cut it entirely from the show, they just wanted it limited.

Kripke explained: "And they said 'we're not saying you can't do it. We're just saying, can you be a little more elegant in how you depict it?'

"Ambrosius and The Deep have moved on to the long-term marriage commitment part of their relationship. So, there isn't going to be a lot of hot sex anyway."

However, it doesn’t rewind the past as fans have already been left traumatised over a previous icky scene of Splinter self-gratifying himself in the form of a chain…like the Human Centipede, except with himself as clones.

A fan was left feeling sick, commenting about the Human Centipede 2: “This sh*t was way worse than a Serbian film for me.

“Seriously what the hell. I have no problem with gore and extreme stuff but this… this is the most depraved piece of media I’ve ever seen.”

Another posted a comment under a post on the r/TheBoys subreddit, saying: “He doing that human centipede type sh*t what the f**k”.

Another said: “BRO WHAT IN THE HOLY F**K DID I SEE”.

A fan posted on X to say: “The ‘human centipede’ in The Boys was absolutely bonkers. What the f**k.”
