Tom Cruise pulls off an extremely unsettling stunt in the new Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One trailer. Watch below:
As shown in the trailer above, the seventh Mission: Impossible looks to be as action-packed as ever, while the man who never ages looks to have, yet again, put his blood, sweat, and tears into another project.

As we all know, the 59-year-old loves to do his own stunts, however, this absolutely ridiculous attempt begins with Cruise's character Ethan Hunt slamming the accelerator on his motorbike, which is heading towards the edge of a cliff in a packed-out forest.
Just as he reaches the edge, he jumps up into the air, takes his hands of the bike and quite literally free-falls off the cliff... along with the motorcycle.

Jheeze...
We can't wait to get a behind-the-scenes look at how they managed to pull this one off.
Well, not many movie franchises can go on such a run, as the first Mission: Impossible came out way back in 1996 and this movie will be the first sequel to bring back Eugene Kittridge (played by Henry Czerny), the director of the IMF in the original film.
In the trailer, he tells Ethan: "Your days of fighting for the greater good are over.

"This is our chance to control the truth, the concepts of right and wrong for everyone for centuries to come.
"You've been fighting to save an ideal that doesn't exist, never did. You need to pick a side."
The upcoming film is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, while the star-studded cast includes Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Frederick Schmidt, Charles Parnell, and Mark Gatiss.

As you might clock on to, this movie is only 'part one' of a two-part blockbuster.
Unfortunately we'll have to wait a while for part one, as production was halted due to the pandemic.
The movie's studios said last month: "After thoughtful consideration, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have decided to postpone the release dates for Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 in response to delays due to the ongoing pandemic.
"We look forward to providing moviegoers with an unparalleled theatrical experience."
