The hit Netflix original show, Alice in Borderland, is back for another season, and it's safe to say that fans couldn’t be more excited about the release.
The first series that followed the dangerous adventure of obsessed gamer Arisu proved to be one of the most popular Netflix shows of 2020, and it's clear to see why the second season has been so eagerly anticipated.
Arisu is a Japanese teenager, who finds himself landed in a desolate version of Tokyo in which he, with the help of his friends, must compete in risky, life-threatening games in order to survive…sounds fun right? Questionable.

So, here’s everything we know so far about the second season…
When Will Alice in Borderland Series 2 Be Released?
Back in November last year it was announced that the infamous series would be returning to our screens for a rerun, and it has since been made known that we can expect to see the second season in December 2022, with the official date yet to be released.
Although fans may be disappointed that they will have to wait until the festive period to watch the repercussions of the first season, we can expect the release date to be towards the beginning of December, if it aligns with the debut series that came out on 10th December 2020.
Who Is In The Cast Of Alice In Borderland Season 2?
Whilst it would be literally impossible for the whole cast of the first season to return later this year, it looks as though the most notable characters from the action-packed thriller will make a reappearance in December:
- Kento Yamazaki as Ryohei Arisu
- Tao Tsuchiya as Yuzuha Usagi
- Keita Machida as Daikichi Karube
- Sho Aoyagi as Aguni Morizono
At the end of the first season of Alice in Borderland, Arisu had barely just survived a multitude of deadly games, and had made the ground-breaking mental discovery that Momoka was the Witch that had to be identified by every player.

Whilst it isn’t yet clear the exact journey that we will be taken on throughout the second season, one thing is for sure, it will not be without its fatalities.
