Fans have spotted a sad detail in a photo of Hugh Jackman from the Met Gala.
Reportedly snapped in his New York City ‘bachelor pad’, the Wolverine actor shared a photo of himself all suited and booted for the Met Gala.
Jackman joined the flood of other major stars and celebrities who got dressed up for ‘the biggest night in fashion’ on Monday (6 May).

Not necessarily the most ‘on theme’ for this year’s ‘Garden of Time’, the 55-year-old wore a black and white tux with a bowtie and shiny shoes.
Since 2004, Jackman had attended the Met Gala with his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, six times. But after being there together in 2022 and 2023, the actor posed alone on the red carpet this year having split from the 68-year-old.
In September 2023, the pair announced they were going their separate ways after nearly 30 years together.

The ex-couple share two children together and said they were splitting and would pursue ‘individual growth’.
And as Jackman posed solo before heading out, his followers noticed belongings were stacked on the floor behind him.
Coffee table books, random trinkets, an exercise mat and a photo are clumped into the corner.
Users wrote in the comments: “Don’t look now but someone stole your coffee table.”

Another even put: “Hugh needs to furnish his apartment/townhouse. Poor guy. Looks handsome, though.”
With one writing: “There’s these places that sell side tables and wall units. I think it could really help you with lifting the vibe of the room. Oh, and nice suit!”
Although one did say: “Who cares about the room? When you are Hugh Jackman, the most versatile actor on the planet and he Looks like that?”

It is possible, of course, that this not actually Jackman’s home and could just be somewhere he’s staying or renting out for a period.
What may make some emotional over Jackman’s split from Furness is the story behind his suit.
In some relation to the ‘time’ theme, the actor revealed his suit is the same one he wore to his first Met Gala back in 2004, when he was joined by his then wife.
He wrote next to a selfie on his way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute: “My original Tom Ford tuxedo. Refitted and repaired.”

Fans commented on his outfit photo to say: “Nice suit, almost as good as your yellow and blue one.”
