Lucy Beaumont reflected on her marriage to Jon Richardson, following the bombshell announcement of their divorce last year.
The British comedians announced their split after nine years of marriage in April 2024, calling the decision 'difficult' but decided to go ahead with it.
Beaumont and Richardson share an eight-year-old daughter together, named Elsie.

The couple have agreed to leave discussions of their relationship off the table when it came to interviews following their split, something that some fans may have found odd, given the public nature of their relationship.
Richardson has recently announced that he will be taking a step back from comedy and pursuing teaching, as the pair take on new paths in their lives.
This split blindsided many fans, especially after the success of their comedy series, Meet the Richardsons. Beaumont would share jabs with her significant other on TV shows too, though her joke about divorce did not age well at all.
But now, a newly unearthed clip has shown her talking about her then-husband's stubbornness on his own show, Ultimate Worrier.

Richardson would bring guests on to speak about his worries, and his ex-wife said at the time that she thought she 'made a mistake' in marrying him.
When asked if she had any worries about him, she said: "I've got a lot. Sometimes I worry that I've made a mistake."
She even added that he couldn't admit when he was wrong or had made a mistake, which is less than ideal in a marriage: "One thing I think that's really hard in a marriage is when the other person can't admit when they’re wrong.
"Can't say 'sorry, I've made a mistake'," she stated.

Fans believed that their show, Meet the Richardsons, which ran for five seasons and 45 episodes, was an accurate insight to the real life of the couple.
But in reality, their TV house wasn’t their real home, and they used an actor instead of their real daughter.
Beaumont once said: “Because we’re playing ourselves, I do think people come up to us more in public and assume they know us. Definitely.”
In a statement following their split, they said: "After nine years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated. We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.
"As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being. We will be making no further comment."

Beaumont would later explain to OK! Magazine that the split has been be kept private for a reason.
“People might think I should talk about it because we were so public and everyone knew us as a couple, but I won’t, and not because there’s any animosity,” the Taskmaster star said.
“We both agreed that while it might be weird for other people not hearing anything about it, we wouldn’t talk about anything to do with the marriage or each other.”
