The newest trailer for House of the Dragon season two has dropped, showing more of the ongoing conflict between Team Black and Team Green at the centre of the season.
With the show releasing next month, hype is growing amongst fans for the Game of Thrones spin-off show’s second season – in which the main characters are going into a full on war against one another.
Check out the trailer here:
House of the Dragon season one ended with the death of Viserys I Targaryen, played brilliantly by Paddy Considine.

And his death has led to an all out fight over who would become the new king (or queen) of Westeros.
On one side, Team Black, is Rhaenyra Targaryen (played by Emma D'Arcy), the daughter of the late king, while her half-brother Aegon Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) leads Team Green alongside his mother, Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke).
If you've got confused by all the wild names don't worry - the show will make very clear where the battle lines are drawn - though the trailer already shows signs of discord amongst the teams.
In a particularly tense moment of the trailer - Matt Smith's Daemon Targaryen appears to be at odds with Rhaenyra - his niece and also wife (yes you read that correctly).

And fans of the show are beyond hyped - with one posting a reply on X to say: "HBO always cook when it comes to TV Series, just well written, high quality TV. We will be there."
Another said: "THE KING OF TV IS BACK BABY! BEST SHOW!"
While fans on subreddit r/HouseOfTheDragon were similarly hyped.
