The big trial is coming up

Tomorrow's (6 December) the big night. No, not your work Christmas party and not the night of the week you get to have a chippy for tea.

It’s Celebrity Cyclone night.

You can pretend all you want that you don’t know what that is, but it’s the absolute fan favourite trial of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! that we wait all series for.

With six celebrities now remaining, Alan Halsall, Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones, GK Barry and Rev. Richard Coles are awaiting their place as Oti Mabuse is already set to face the Trial of all Trials.

Celebrity Cyclone first took place on the ITV show way back in 2006 with Matt Willis, Myleene Klass and Jason Donovan – bet that makes you feel old.

And you might be more shocked to know the huge amount of crew it apparently takes to put together the legendary I’m A Celeb trial.

As we all know, Celebrity Cyclone sees the stars dressed up as superheroes as they try and make their way up a huge slip n’ slide.

It’s obviously not so simple though, as they’re absolutely pelted with the likes of gym balls and footballs as they’re drenched in litres and litres of slime and water as wind machines and high-speed water jets attempt to throw them off.

So, with so many obstacles and sh*t going on, it takes a lot of crew to make it happen.

ITV says around 100 members are involved in the big event, as they added a break down of how much goes into it:

· Approximately 500 litres of slime

· 100 footballs

· Some 125kg Holi powder

With 10 minutes on the clock, it’s rare that the celebrities fail the infamous trial with a major success rate for collecting all the stars.

I mean, let’s be honest, it’s just a bit of fun rather than the usual creepy crawlies and critters and eating c*cks.

Mabuse secured her spot in the Celebrity Cyclone early, thanks to winning a special ticket and immunity in the Arcade of Agony trial. And this was followed by Maura Higgins and Barry McGuigan losing out at the final hurdle as they exited camp in a double elimination last night.
