After five years as a coach on the talent show, Olly Murs has been asked to leave by ITV's The Voice UK judging panel.
We’re not quite sure The Voice is even the show it is without Olly!
The 39-year-old singing sensation has announced that he has been ditched by bosses at ITV, and will be leaving his job as a judge/coach on The Voice UK.

He sits on the judging panel alongside Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, and Anne Marie, and the 2023 series will be his last ever.
Speaking about his departure, he told The Sun: “I’m gutted.
“I got the call last week to say I won’t be back on the show, and it’s a bit of a shock, to be honest.

“I didn’t really expect that to come.
“But I don’t want to sit here like other artists might, and shine and gloss this up and say, ‘It was my decision’. I don’t want to do that.”
I spy a little bit of drama on the horizon!
He continued: “Did I want to leave? No.

“Will I still watch the show? Of course, but it’ll be sore thinking that could have been me.”
He has been the winning coach twice throughout his time on the show. His first win was with Molly Hocking in 2019, and the following year in 2020 with Blessing Annatoria Chitapa.
Olly has been touring the UK this year, and it has just been announced that he will be touring again in 2024, this time supporting 90s boyband Take That.

“What a tour this is going to be, gonna be special!”
Excited fans rushed to the comments, with one saying: “Looking forward to finally seeing you live!”

Another said: “Can’t wait for this, my favourite people in one place.
“Exciting times!”
ITV and ITVX have yet to comment on the departure of Olly from their hit talent show, but put out a statement about the upcoming series, saying: “The Voice UK returns to ITV1 and ITVX for a brand new series later this year featuring coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Anne-Marie and Olly Murs.
“Details of the 2024 series will be confirmed in due course.”
