It's time for Hogwarts Legacy fans to celebrate as the makes of the game have teased a major 'summer update' is on the way for millions of people who play the game.
There's no other way to describe the Warner Bros Games creation than an utter success, with it the first fully immersive video game venture in to the Wizarding World franchise known best for the Harry Potter novels and films.
Set more than one hundred years before the Potter franchise, it allows gamers to explore the likes of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hogsmeade village, and the Forbidden Forest in an all out role-playing game (RPG to anyone who has actually played a game in their lives).

Selling more than 22 million copies - more than any other game in 2023 - it won a handful of awards and was nominated for a whole lot more.
It generated a tonne of cash too, including a whopping $1 billion (£793 million) within three months of launch.
The future of Hogwarts Legacy has now been teased by the creators of the game over on its official X account (formerly Twitter).

It's nothing new for PS5 owners but for the millions on PC and Xbox who have bought the game, you're in luck.
The Haunted Hogsmeade Quest is finally coming to all platforms despite exclusivity for the PS5 ending back in February. The add-on allows players to own their own shop in the magical village - the only problem is it is haunted by a poltergeist.
The exact date is still unknown, but it's been teased by the Hogwarts Legacy team who said to 'keep your eyes on our socials this week'.
Information 'around the Hogwarts Legacy summer update' is also on the cards - although what that is exactly remains a mystery for the time being, having first been teased a number of months ago.

A sequel to Hogwarts Legacy is yet to be officially confirmed, but fans have recently been left fuming at the idea of it being a 'live service' game.
This is where a video game gets a consistent stream of content after its initial launch with a purpose of keeping gamers playing for longer rather than a 'one and done' situation.
Warner Bros. Discovery CEO and President of Streaming and Games, J.B. Perrette, said earlier this year: "That’s a great business when you have a hit like [Hogwarts Legacy]. It makes the year look amazing.

"Unfortunately, we also have disappointments — we just released Suicide Squad this quarter, which was not as strong. It just makes it very volatile.
"Rather than just launching a one-and-done console game, how do we develop a game around, for example, Hogwarts Legacy or Harry Potter, that is a live service where people can live and work and build and play in that world on an ongoing basis?"
Fans posted on X to say a live service game is 'not what the fans want', with one writing: "Let's just ignore the massive success of Hogwarts Legacy, a single-player game, and double down on live service games, when their most recent live service game sadly flopped critically and commercially?"
