Tom Cruise has opened up about whether or not he would reprise the role of Tropic Thunder's Les Grossman.
In the 2008 action comedy directed by Ben Stiller, as part of a multi star-studded cast, Cruise took on the role of antagonist studio executive Les Grossman.
Despite his character's foul mouth, questionable hairline and shirt that could really do with having a few more buttons done up, Cruise has revealed whether or not he may be open to reprising the role.

While the actor reflected to Comicbook.com how he 'did Les Grossman for the MTV awards' – taking to the stage for a performance alongside Jennifer Lopez in 2010 – he said 'we'll have to see' about whether or not he's set to play him again.
Cruise admitted taking on the character again 'could be fun', but said he 'really [doesn't] know, at this moment'.
He stated: "I'm just enjoying this night, I gotta finish [the Mission: Impossible sequels], you know what I mean? I'm enjoying this night, I'm gonna put all my Mission stuff away for a moment to just breathe tonight."
Mission: Impossible 7 is currently set for release in cinemas on 14 July, 2023.

The film was originally set for release on 23 July, 2021, however it went through a series of delays as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Fans have subsequently been forced to sit patiently – or most likely, quite impatiently – waiting for the latest instalment.
However, Mission: Impossible 7 is set to be the most nail-biting to date – thanks in no small part to the fact it features Cruise's most dangerous stunt yet.
Cruise's teasing of whether or not he would reprise the role of Les Grossman isn't a completely far-fetched possibility either, given the actor frequently returns to characters he's played previously.

In 2012 action thriller Jack Reacher, Cruise took on the starring role as the title character, a former US Army Military Police officer. In 2016, he reprised the role for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.
The 59-year-old has also reprised his role as Ethan Hunt for the beloved Mission: Impossible series.
And, most recently, he's returned to his Top Gun glory days, appearing in the long-awaited sequel Top Gun: Maverick – it was at the premiere of this film that Cruise hinted at the possible reprisal of the role of Les Grossman.

And while he made an epic entrance to the premiere via helicopter, the actor has denied he was flying the vehicle himself.
